What does Addax Tactical specialize in?

Addax Tactical (Addax Inc.) is a 07 FFL Manufacturer and 01 FFL Dealer.

Addax Tactical provides various solutions for the AR15 market.

We offer DI and Gas Piston Uppers, as well as parts and accessories for the AR15.

Addax Tactical is starting to design and manufacture unique solutions for the AR15 market including our very own AR Gas Piston System, and accessories like our new Phalanx Flash Suppressor.

Do you have your own Addax Gas Piston System?

Yes.

We have been developing our own Addax AR15 Gas Piston System which we call the ESS (Enhanced Short Stroke) AR Piston System.

We plan on releasing a new line of Addax Gas Piston Uppers utilizing our new ESS Piston System around August/September 2010.

What is the Addax ATAC GPU?

The Addax ATAC GPU (Advanced Tactical AR Carbine Gas Piston Upper) is a dedicated built Gas Piston Upper solution for the AR15, M16, and M4 rifles/carbines built by Addax Tactical utilizing the Primary Weapons Long Stroke Piston System.

The ATAC GPU is set up as a Carbine based upper, and has been designed and built with Combat Applications in mind, and is an Excellent option for Military, Law Enforcement and for Shooting Enthusiasts.

The core of the Addax ATAC Series is the PWS Long Stroke Piston System that utilizes the same fixed op rod design as the PWS 7” Diablo, but in a Carbine configuration with 16", 14.5” or 11.5” barrel lengths.

The Long Stroke Piston System is sits under the specially designed, proprietary low profile Quad Rail system.

The ATAC utilizes high quality Military Spec. and Match Grade Components including barrels, bolts, and upper receivers.

The ATAC GPU has a pinned gas block (meeting current mil-spec requirements).

Do you use the PWS Long Stroke Piston Upper in your current line of Addax ATAC GPU?

Yes

We have teamed up with PWS, where we are able to utilize the PWS Long Stroke Piston System in all of our Addax ATAC Gas Piston Upper builds.

Do you actually build your own Gas Piston Uppers?

Yes.

All Addax Gas Piston Uppers are built here at our shop in San Fernando, California.

Do you offer an 18" or 16" Mid-Length Gas Piston Upper?

We will be offering a Mid-Length configuration in our new Addax Gas Piston Uppers utilizing our new ESS (Enhanced Short Stroke) Piston System Fall of 2010, and we will be building 16 and 18" Mid-Length Gas Piston Uppers.

Can you build a Mid-Length or 18" Addax ATAC Long Stroke Piston Upper?

No, since the PWS Long Stroke Piston System that is used in our ATAC Gas Piston Uppers is a Carbine configuration, and the longest barrel length we offer with the ATAC GPU's is 16"

Can you use any other rail system with the Addax ATAC Long Stroke Piston Uppers?

The ATAC GPU's use the PWS Long Stroke Piston System which has a proprietary rail system that is integral to the PWS Long Stroke Piston System. No other rail system can be used with the PWS Long Stroke Piston System at this time.

What are the shortest barrel lengths available for the Addax ATAC Long Stroke Piston Uppers?
